In the arid desert of San Juan County, water is scarce and highly valued. Design and construction of the new Dry Wash Dam stands to benefit the members of this community by reducing the effects of potential droughts and water shortages. The new dam consisted of a new 24” dual level outlet works, toe drain, chimney drain, blanket filter systems, overflow spillway and dam embankment. Funded by the Utah Community Impact Board, this project brings more than just water, it also brings peace of mind.
